When Adam came in to see us about designing a ring for Zoe he knew he didn't want a traditional Diamond ring.
After going through his ideas we sourced a variety of unusual coloured Sapphires for him to choose from. Initially we were looking for a deep blue colour, but after seeing this beautiful peach Sapphire the decision was made!
We decided to make the setting for the Sapphire in 18ct Rose Gold to set off the colour of the Sapphire and really bring it to life by setting a halo of small white diamonds around it in platinum, sitting on a traditional platinum band. The clever design also allows a wedding band to sit perfectly against the engagement ring without the need for a shaped ring to be made.
Initially Andy was looking for a Yellow Diamond for the ring he wanted to create for Cheryl, but after seeing the range of different Yellow diamonds we sourced for him, he fell in love with this gorgeous light brown diamond. A traditional round brilliant cut diamond with a unique light brown cognac colour was the perfect choice to create a timeless design.
The delicate colour of the central diamond is really shown off to its full potential against the bright white diamonds down each shoulder. Set in Platinum with the main diamond in 18ct yellow gold there's a real warmth about the diamond & an amazing sparkle! This design shows how a traditional style engagement ring can be given a unique twist by choosing more unusual diamond colours & metal combinations.
Cheryl later chose a diamond set wedding band with round brilliant white diamonds to perfectly match the band of her engagement ring. As we used a Wedfit design on her engagement ring the two rings sit perfectly next to each other without any gap between them.
